命の連鎖

写真を撮ったところは、過去に急流が氾濫して周囲の木々を流してしまったというところです。そのため、若い木々と立ち枯れてしまった木々が混在しています。

大自然の新陳代謝。

エルクの群れ
2009年06月07日、民家の前を群れで通り過ぎているアメリカの大きな鹿(エルク)たち。地元民はエルクの横を普通に犬の散歩で通り抜けたりしている。

ツノにも毛が生えている不思議。
