ユタ州会議事堂

「ちなみに千葉県庁ってどんなのだろう」とGoogle Mapで探したら赤いUFOが見つかりました。
(スマートフォンからでしたらカメラをほぼ真上にすると見つかります。)

ボルダーのシンボル
2012年01月11日、コロラド州ボルダー市にあるフラットアイロンという山。ボルダーのシンボル。ボルダーは吹雪が吹いても、その直後に晴れる事が多々あり、その時に撮ったもの。

その夜はボルダー市街で-15度とあまりにも寒く、D90のタイマーリモートスイッチが動作しなくなり、さらに自分の息によってレンズが凍ってしまい写真の左の方がちょっと霞んでしまっています。「だからプロは高い機材を買うんだ」と妙に納得のいった夜でした。

次回は完璧な写真を撮りたいものです。

The Symbol of Boulder
01/11/2012, Flatiron Mountain in Boulder, Colorado. Shot right after a blizzard. Often the sky gets clear after blizzards in Boulder.

That night was freezing! It was around 5ºF(-15ºC) in the city part(not in the mountain area!) and my D90 remote controller stopped working because of the temperature. The left side of the picture looks foggy. For the lens got frozen partially due to my breath. That is the moment when I realized the limit of situations that cheap tools can handle.

I will be back to Boulder again for a perfect picture with better equipment!
